Contaminated Site Remediation & Redevelopment (CSRR) will be providing detailed training on its regulatory updates to N.J.A.C. 7:26C-7 as a result of amendments to the Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA).

The virtual training will be held on Wednesday, February 18 at 8:30 am to 3:30 pm via GoToWebinar.

This training program focuses on some of the Department's recently adopted amendments to the site remediation rules to codify and implement the provisions of P.L. 2019, c. 263 (the SRRA 2.0 Act), which concerned the remediation of contaminated sites, and amended and supplemented various parts of the statutory law. The training highlights general rule changes including amendments to the Administrative Requirements for the Remediation of Contaminated Sites, N.J.A.C. 7:26C-7, as well as technical corrections and clarifications related to Remedial Action Permit requirements. The training will cover the new remedial action permitting submittal process, introduce the updated permitting forms, and include case studies and examples. Additional topics include Indoor Air Notification Area notifications, administrative updates to remedial action permitting, related reporting and GIS mapping submittals.

Continuing Education Credits (CECs):

CSRR has applied to the Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board (SRPLB) for 6 Regulatory Credits for this course. Once the CECs are approved, the Licensed Site Remediation Professional Association (LSRPA) will provide eligible attendees with detailed instructions via email regarding how to obtain a CEC certificate. The certificates will be made available via an email link to those participants who meet the requirements and have requested to receive CECs. Credits may be applicable to New Jersey Professional Engineer (PE) licenses, PE licenses from other states, and Professional Geologist licenses from other states; please verify the requirements that apply to your licenses.
