Description:
The Data of Known Quality Protocols (DKQPs) define NJDEP’s minimum Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) and reporting expectations for analytical data used in environmental decision-making. This program helps practitioners verify that laboratory performance meets DKQP requirements and supports project-specific data quality objectives.
Topics to be discussed:
- Overview of NJDEP DKQPs Technical Guidance
- Analytical methods and parameters included under the DKQPs
- Minimum laboratory reporting requirements (DKQP Performance Standards)
- How to confirm laboratory compliance with project QAPPs and data quality objectives
- Determining whether data are reliable and suitable for regulatory decision-making
- Useful QA/QC steps for methods not in the DKQPs, including EPA Method 1633A (PFAS)
An interactive roundtable discussion will follow the presentation. Attendees are encouraged to bring questions and issues affecting their current projects.
